Matthew Worner
Digital Platform & Experience Specialist
I build things that work in the real world. Global product launches at Apple across 56 markets. Compliance SaaS built from scratch. EdTech for international schools. Digital production inside agencies. Two decades across industries and continents — I read environments quickly and deliver without hand-holding.
After relocating to Northland from Auckland following our son’s birth, I assumed primary parenting responsibilities while my wife worked as a GP on the COVID frontlines. During that period, I continued developing and delivering digital projects.

ARP (Audio Revival Processor) is a premium iOS application designed to restore and enhance old audio recordings using cutting-edge on-device AI noise reduction and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies. Built with a strict focus on user privacy, all processing happens locally on the device with no cloud dependencies.
The app targets audiophiles, historians, archivists, and anyone looking to breathe new life into degraded audio recordings from vinyl, cassette tapes, or low-quality digital sources. By leveraging Apple's Core ML framework and advanced audio processing algorithms, ARP delivers studio-quality results in a mobile-first experience.
The Idea
I wanted to hear better sounding audio without plugging in a silly looking dongle into my iPhone. So I started scratching around for ideas and vibed this MVP together in a couple hours. I loved it and thought let's make it a bit more useful and been using it as my go-to music player.
Key Features
- On-device AI noise reduction using Core ML
- Advanced DSP for audio enhancement and restoration
- No cloud processing - complete privacy
- Support for multiple audio formats (WAV, MP3, AAC, FLAC)
- Intuitive waveform visualization
- Batch processing for multiple files
- Export to various formats with quality settings
A spatial computing experience that reveals the pattern of human mark-making consciousness across 50,000 years. Not an educational tool or art gallery, but a mirror that shows users themselves as part of an unbroken chain of human visual expression.
The Idea
My art history thesis was all about the creation of new mediums and formats, so I started thinking how can I put that together to showcase all of the mediums humans have used. The tech is still not there for this and probably won't be for a few years, but it's a start and a way to kick things off.
Key Features
- 50 real images loaded from JSON (spanning 50,000 years)
- Modular positioning system (JSON, Spiral, Grid strategies)
- Efficient texture management with caching
- Mouse-based gaze detection with dwell tracking
- Dwell-triggered rupture system (3-second threshold)
- Generative ambient soundscape system
- WebXR support (VR button enabled when available)
- Visual feedback (glow, scale) on gaze
A thought-provoking screensaver for macOS and tvOS that creates a powerful visual and emotional contrast between the serene, timeless beauty of our solar system and the chaotic, growing swarm of human-made objects orbiting Earth. Through cinematic 3D visualization, real satellite data, and subtle educational elements, the screensaver serves as both a meditative ambient experience and a quiet commentary on humanity's expanding footprint in space.
The Idea
On christmas day my son was asking me about satelites, and we started digging into how many were around earth. Then i had this idea to take the retro screensaver and layer on the satelites as a way for people to see how many of them are up there and who owns them.
Key Features
- Real-time gravitational simulation
- Custom GLSL shaders
- Interactive particle systems
- Audio-reactive visuals
- Performance optimized rendering
Cortex is an AI-powered visualization tool that makes neural network architectures accessible and understandable. It provides interactive 3D representations of deep learning models.
The Idea
I wanted to build my own Siri but to bring in health data and functional features like my task list and work / life schedule. It was something I started to tinker with after reading about VibeTunnel and thought there was something to play with here. It's been surpassed by OpenClaw, but that's cool—it was about seeing what I could build and bring in.
Key Features
- Interactive 3D network visualization
- Real-time training metrics
- Model architecture importer
- Layer inspection tools
- Educational mode with explanations
DWSPBuilder is a compliance SaaS platform that simplifies the creation and management of Drinking Water Safety Plans (DWSP) for schools and water suppliers across Australia and New Zealand. The platform streamlines what was traditionally a complex, paper-based process into an intuitive digital workflow.
Built from the ground up with input from regulatory bodies and end users, DWSPBuilder ensures compliance with Ministry of Health (NZ) and state health department (Australia) requirements while dramatically reducing the time and expertise needed to create compliant water safety documentation.
The Idea
This is a work project, far more serious for water suppliers in Australia to capture the details of their water supply and produce plans that the state water regulators can use to monitor their water supplies.
Key Features
- Digital DWSP template with regulatory compliance built-in
- Risk assessment workflow with guided questions
- Multi-user collaboration for school staff and water suppliers
- Automatic compliance checking against AU/NZ standards
- Document generation and export (PDF, DOCX)
- Version history and audit trails
- Reminder system for review deadlines
